Perpetual rampage, annihilating all encountered Unshakeable, immovable madness Innumerable fingers grasping frantically outward A flurry of hands; devourer of all things Infinite, timeless monolith; kaleidoscopic Heart beats within a tissue of granite An unquenchable force; a furious movement The cacophonous call of crawling fingers I am the bringer of the void Impossible being of ceaseless energy I exist beyond the fallacy of logic I was not birthed; I have always been Limbs by the tonne Impregnable living flesh wrought to stone The breathing castle Fear its cry; its endless savagery All come to die; the end of times I am alpha and omega A pure force of unbound anger A thousand limbs will never rest Divine abomination made flesh Unfathomable to mortal minds Existential anomaly A creature unbound by the realms of time The endless apocalypse

about

"Thousand-Arms Fortress" is the first Larks song I've composed since 2013's "Far-Stepper/Of Wide Sea". It's the first step on the route to album 3, which is now in the works.

Lyrics:

Perpetual rampage, annihilating all encountered
Unshakeable, immovable madness
Innumerable fingers grasping frantically outward
A flurry of hands; devourer of all things

Infinite, timeless monolith; kaleidoscopic
Heart beats within a tissue of granite
An unquenchable force; a furious movement
The cacophonous call of crawling fingers

I am the bringer of the void
Impossible being of ceaseless energy
I exist beyond the fallacy of logic
I was not birthed; I have always been

Limbs by the tonne
Impregnable living flesh wrought to stone
The breathing castle
Fear its cry; its endless savagery
All come to die; the end of times

I am alpha and omega
A pure force of unbound anger
A thousand limbs will never rest
Divine abomination made flesh

Unfathomable to mortal minds
Existential anomaly
A creature unbound by the realms of time
The endless apocalypse
